seaweeds

I went to the Natural History Museum and Institute in Chiba with 3 of my friends.

The museum is planning an exhibition of "seaweeds".

Seaweeds are one of the traditional foods of Japan.
A lot of Japanese people loves eating it but they are not interested with its origin and neither am I.

After watching the displays I had a second thought.
They are not only food for humans but also a place for fish and shellfish to hide out.
They have an important role.

I was impressed to see a variety of colors of seaweeds and their different shapes.
There were green, light brown, dark brown and light pink.
My most favorite color of all is the light pink.
It was the most beautiful seaweed I've ever seen.
